Essential oils are small naturally occurring molecules that are found in the seeds, bark, stems, roots, flowers, and other parts of plants. They are the essence of the plant! It takes 250-300 lbs of lavender to make 1lb of lavendar essential oil! True essence of the plant!
They are usually derived using the steam distilled or cold pressed method.

What is a fragrance oil?
Fragrance oil are not aroma-therapeutic or natural, they are lab created aromatic elements. They are loved by many of us because of the variety of scents we can compose to make a great smelling candle (one particular store in the mall comes to mind).
Fragrance oils are deemed safe to use but lack the true health and aromatherapy benefits of essential oils.
What is a carrier oil?
Carrier oils are oils used to dilute pure essential oils and carry the oil to the skin. Each carrier oil has its distinct benefit.
